Traditional Renders
Lime Render
Lime render is a very breathable render and can accommodate limited movement without cracking which makes it particularly suitable for use on period properties and wooden framed building. Animal hair has traditionally been used as a binding agent within base coats of lime renders.
Pebble Dash
Pebble Dash is a decorative exterior masonry coating applied to a wall using a wet mortar with pebbles (or spar) cast onto it.
Sand and Cement Render
Sand and cement rendering is the application of a premixed layer of sand and cement usually intended to be textured or painted after application. Depending on the finish required, rendering can be fine or coarse, textured or smooth. Different finishes can be created by using different tools including brushes and sponges.
